Green Flush Technologies has combined the advantages of flush restrooms with the self-containment feature of vault toilets. We make vault toilets that flush! Park visitors always prefer flush restrooms with sinks instead of vault toilets. They often find the portable vault toilets and the permanent concrete vault toilets offensive. Green Flush restrooms use less than half as much water as a typical restroom. Because they are flush restrooms they do not have the offensiveness of vault toilets making them the obvious choice over vault toilets. The extreme water conservation of our public bathrooms not only makes them “green” but means that onboard storage of sewage is now practical. Water, sewer, and power connections are not needed for our restrooms allowing them to easily be installed and operate virtually anywhere.

Servicing a self-contained restroom

Routine cleaning and restocking are the same as for other restrooms. Without a sewer connection, arrange for a pump truck to empty the wastewater vault when it is close to full. Without an on-site water connection, water must be delivered for handwashing and flushing. Optional rainwater collection can supplement flush water. Solar-powered configurations recharge the operating battery, which needs replacement after several years of use. Service needs depend on the selected configuration and site use.
